GRACEFUL LIVING AND MINDFUL MOMENTS

Embrace Your Plot Twist: You Are the Main Character

Starting Over After 40 Series

Becoming after 40, Part 2.

What excites me most about being a creator is that it gives me the freedom to transform my own journey into something that can inspire others. Starting over after 40 has been a season of reflection, courage, and rediscovery. There have been moments of uncertainty, but also moments of deep clarity — a realization that life doesn’t end at a certain age, it evolves. Being a creator allows me to share those lessons in a way that reminds others that it’s never too late to begin again.

For me, creating is about more than content. It’s about capturing the essence of mindfulness, beauty, and intention, and weaving it into stories that encourage others to pause and reconnect with themselves. Through She Is GLAMM, I’ve found a way to merge my love for lifestyle, spirituality, and self-care into a platform that speaks to both grace and growth. What excites me is knowing that someone might read my words, see a reflection of their own journey, and feel a spark of courage to embrace their next chapter with confidence.

Here’s how to own that truth and live like it.

Romanticize the Ordinary

Being the main character is about presence….Residing in the present moments of life.

For example, lighting candles just because. Playing the music loud while you clean. Making your morning coffee an enjoyable experience.

Life is more meaningful and memorable when you stop waiting for big moments to feel alive and start appreciating the small ones like they were written just for you. Because they were.

Tell Your Story, Your Way

Narrate your life, even if it’s just in your journal. Write your truth. Share what you’re learning. Post whatever you want, even if it’s not perfect.

Main character energy comes from owning your perspective. It doesn’t need approval—it just needs to be real.

And authenticity is magnetic.

Live With Intention

What do you want your life to feel like?

Start there.

Every decision you make should be with intention towards your desires, goals, and/or what brings you joy.  Lean in closer to that feeling by leading with intention. Be mindful of where your time, energy, and attention go. A main character moves with purpose—even in uncertainty.

Walk With Confidence (Even Before You Feel It)

Confidence isn’t about always knowing—it’s about trusting yourself or having faith that it will work out.

Walk like you belong in every room you enter. Speak your truth with clarity. Choose yourself, daily.

You’ll be surprised how many doors open when you stop waiting to be chosen and start choosing yourself.

Embrace the Plot Twists

No good story is without tension. The heartbreaks, the detours, the silent seasons—they shape you.

Let them.

You’re not off-track; you’re just developing depth.

Your healing is part of your evolution and it is your power.

Evolve—Visibly and Unapologetically

You’re allowed to outgrow versions of yourself.

Try the new things. Pivot. Reinvent. And repeat if necessary.

The main character doesn’t stay stuck. She evolves—and invites others to do the same.

Create Sacred Rituals/Routines

Set the tone for your day before the world does.

Whether it’s prayer, journaling, yoga, or silence. Anchor yourself in practices that remind you of who you are.

You are not here to survive the day. You are here to create it.

Protect Your Peace Like It’s Sacred (Because It Is)

This advice I have learned to take the most serious this time around in life. You don’t owe anyone access to your energy.

Boundaries are not barriers—they are bridges to your best self.

Say no without guilt. Say yes with intention. Let go of what doesn’t align. That’s not selfish—that’s sacred.

Visualize and Align

Who is the version of you that fully embodies main character energy?

Remember: You’re Not Just the Star—You’re the Director

What do you wear? Where do you go? What are your hobbies? What are your friends like? How do you speak to yourself?

Create a visual mood board on Pinterest, in your journal, or on your phone/tablet. Let that help with guiding your choices. It’s not a fantasy.

It’s you, without the fear.

Being a creator keeps me grounded in purpose and gives me the freedom to blend all the things I love — from wellness practices and mindful living to travel, self-care, and those small but powerful everyday moments — into stories that resonate. It’s a reminder that the twists and turns of life are not detours, but opportunities to design a life that feels aligned and authentic. It excites me to know that by sharing openly, I might inspire someone else to pause, reflect, and realize they have the power to create a life that feels authentic, graceful, and aligned with who they truly are. The chance to turn my own experiences into inspiration for others is what fuels me — and that is the true joy of creating.

This is your story.

Write it with courage.

Live it with clarity.

And let every scene reflect the truth that you are—undeniably, unapologetically—the main character of your life.

If this resonated with you, I want to hear about it!

How are you stepping into your own lead role?

Comment below and tell me what chapter you’re in.

Let’s hold space for each other to rise.
