2020 has been a long year, to say the least. I’m normally a very patient person but this year has tested my patience to its limit! At the beginning of quarantine, I did a lot of retail therapy to cope. I hoped to wear many of the items when the outside opened back up. Needless to say, we all see how that went. On a more positive note, this year has allowed me to focus more on my creativity. It has also helped me concentrate on my goals and aspirations!

Admittedly, Amazon has gotten the majority of my coins during these unprecedented times. If you’re an Amazon Prime member, you can get your items super fast. Items arrive no later than 1 or 2 days, and groceries come the same day. Amazon has become a true one-stop shop. They have left consumers with no other choice but to stan.
This inspired me to create a personal wishlist with Amazon of things I needed as a content creator. No more spending dollars on things that won’t grow my dollars. Well, at least not as much as I have before. A content creator can be many things other than a blogger or influencer. If you are an entrepreneur of any sort these days, then add content creator to your title too.

Once I started, I learned there is a lot more required with being a content creator. I realized that I lacked many of the necessary tools. These tools are used to create the bomb content I loved from many of my favorite bloggers. And still do. Nevertheless, Amazon does a wonderful job of strategically making you aware of everything you need. So, I compiled a short gift guide for the content creator in your life.

- ULANZI MT-08 Extension Pole Tripod, Mini Selfie Stick
- CamKix Wireless Bluetooth Camera Shutter Remote Control
- Emart Photo Video Studio 10Ft Adjustable Background Stand Backdrop
- Neewer Ring Light Kit:18″/48cm Outer 55W 5500K Dimmable
- Professional Grade Lavalier Lapel Microphone
- Phone Tripod Mount with Remote 360 Rotation Smartphone Holder
- Canon PowerShot G7 X Digital Camera – Wi-Fi Enabled
- HPUSN Softbox Lighting Kit
Please know this isn’t a must-have list for content creators. Still, being a content creator can get very costly if you’re just starting out. So, if you’re looking to buy a gift for someone who is, this list is a great place to start. When I began, unknowingly, there were many things I needed that never crossed my mind. It wasn’t a hindrance but not having some of the tools I now have caused more work than necessary. I did not need everything listed to start. But as I continued further, I learned more about the tools available. These tools help with the growth of my brand/business.
Also note, if your business is a registered entity. Any form of content creation is a legitimate business. You should know that these purchases are tax-right-offs. To conclude, this list does not apply to everyone but hopefully, it helps someone who’s getting started or considering it.
